Tattoos and hair loss

What do you guys think about tattoos going along with hair loss?

I've always been a huge fan of tattoos, and I actually got my first tattoo when I was about 17 or so. At that time I never imagined I could be losing my hair and I was always planning that I would get a bunch more tattoos and look pretty cool into my 20s with a bunch of tattoos and cool hair. I'm also a musician and I play the guitar...

Nowadays, when I actually am in my 20s I feel wary about getting any more tattoos, it's like there's a voice in my head saying "what's the point"?

But in all seriousness a huge part of me being so down about losing my hair is I always imagined myself to have that "look" with either long or spiky hair with tattoos on my arms and playing guitar on a stage. I guess just sort of having that image of youthful energy.

I'd really like to hear what other people have to say about the subject, perhaps their own personal experiences?

I still think I would like to get more tattoos, but I'd hate to look like some biker burnout who hangs out at dodgy bars and plays pool by the time I'm 30.

i have no tattoos but have been seriously considering get one for a year now.
but if i do end up deciding to just shave off all my hair, i wouldnt want a bunch of tattoos. because like you, i dont want to look like some bad biker dude.

so for now i have no tattoos.

no tattoos yet but i would like to get some at some point. and i dunno, while i see what you mean about the biker look, you kinda forfeited your ability to look like a working stiff when you got #1. depending on its size and position that is.

but in answer to your question, yeah screw it, if i do decide to get any tattoos then baldness isnt gunna get in the way of that and to hell with what anyone else has to say about looking like a biker

I've got a tattoo I got when I was 18 I believe and added to it when I was 19. I wanted more, going so far as to speak to tattoo artist about designs and once saying I'll go to the atm and be back but I chickened out. I'll be 26 next week and in hindsight I'm glad I didn't get anymore but I like the one I have. I agree that if you want to get tattoos you shouldn't let hair loss stop you. However I have to admit I wonder how tattos will look and if it will change my image when/if I hit high norwood.

I'm 33 and many of my friends are my age or older and I can tell you everyone with tattoos are looking to get rid of them.

I really think tattoo's are cool aswell, especially full sleeves. On the other hand it would be a huge disadvantage in my working carreer. And yeah, a tattoo with a bald head looks less good, sorry to say so.
