Hello,

Have you ever heard succesful stories about Telogen effluvium issue. According to many websites such condition ends automatically after 6 months or so. In my case it happens for at least 8 months.
Are there any treatment methods? If this eventually stop at some point will hairs grow back to the original state? Doctors claim it happens because of stress, well I had such period aprox 2 years ago. I was in serious stress possibly with depression too for maybe a year. Is it possible that it has such impact on my hairs after 2 years?!

Thanks!

You need to eliminate the cause of your Telogen Effluvium, then it will grow back. Otherwise the Telogen Effluvium will be chronic. Didn´t the doctors give you further advices? Most people here have male pattern baldness and hence don´t know much about Telogen Effluvium.

Most likely you have male pattern baldness if the loss is at the hairline or crown but you didnt post pics so we cant really tell you.

Well I am going to change my dermatologist, she only recommend me some specifics for hair grow. When it comes to find the root of all problems she is helpless ;/

What do you mean saying "on hairline"? I think I have weaker hairs on whole body but the area that is affected the most is top of the head - from forehead to vortex, equally all over that region! So I guess this is not male pattern baldnes? Is it?

Also, my shedding of hairs was very quick. I lost 30% of all top hairs in 2 or 3 months so it is rather not the sign of male pattern baldness which is rather slow process, right?

Yes it can grow back, but sometimes 3- 4 months, sometimes over 8 months.

After 1 year you can think of Treatments (like minoxidil).
