Is Telogen Effluvium something that can be reversed?...or is it just a symptom that is associated with the androgenetic hair loss? Can one have both? By reading stuff online, it seems that Telogen Effluvium is a disease of its own.e.g. which may be caused by other underlying diseases.
Can Telogen Effluvium mimic Androgenetic hair loss pattern...in terms of looks.

Yes, in the majority of cases hair can and usually does come back.

Some people have reported that a telogen effluvium shed as a precursor to androgenetic alopecia

It would appear so.

Telogen effluvium means hair shedding. If you shock your system whether by diet or severe stress then hair can shed.

Chronic telogen effluvium can occur where the underlying problem hasn't been fixed.

Yes it can.

Although hair loss occurs all over the head, it is often more noticeable on the top of the head.

Moreover, miniaturization is said to be replicated and reported and not being part of the androgenetic alopecia where there has been an iron deficiency.

hope this helps
