Temple Hair - What is 'normal'?

Is it normal to have thinner and less dense hair on the temples?

I noticed today that quite a few younger people have this...even really young kids have much thinner temple hair...which makes me wonder how much mine really has changed in the last few years before I started worrying about it.

you answered it yourself. I also sometimes worry when I see people with really thick temples. then I look at my brother and notice we both have thinner temples. he's 12.

Maybe...I just don't know if on kids it 'grows in' as they mature? Just I read on 'balding blog' that the density of the hair should basically be the same all over if you're not balding apart from maybe the very frontal corners which would disappear to form the mature hairline for those not balding.

Just wondering what others think is true....?

Yeah, even girls have those thinner hairs around temple area
