Are you a diffuse thinner? If so has your scalp ever felt sore or tender at times?

my scalp was sore until recently, I found out it was "substance P"

I found a shampoo that inhibited the substance P, now the pain is gone

I am receding at the temples as well as thinning all over the top. I hate my hair on the top, so thin (in diamater and density) but oh well. My scalp does feel a bit tender on top

Thanks for the feedback.

I am beginning to think all diffuse thinners get tender scalps.

Thats quite a revelation except for the fact that nearly all people with male pattern baldness have tender scalps at one point or another. One of the most frequent symptoms of male pattern baldness is a tender scalp which is why almost everyone on here uses some sort of anti-dandruff shampoo. Good theory though. :hairy:

If I tell you why, you won't believe me and you will for sure call me Ken.

It's probably best if I stop talking on this thread now.

Thanks for the input. It was really appreciated.

Close but no cigar. Your are wrong on four points.

1. I am not Ken.

2. I really just wanted the information

3. The information I am researching on is not about Ken or me.

4. It's not about regrowth but successfully stopping hair loss.

P.S. You know what they say about "assume"-ing things.

The point. As usual you think you know what you are talking about, but you don't.

Arrogance and a little knowledge can be a dangerous combination.
