Testing Propecia

As I'm not 100% sure, I want to get on the drug, due to the severe side effects, I decided just to test it before. But I've heard, people have got massive sheds right after starting Propecia and only had regrowth after being on the drug for a few months. So is it worth to test it for a few months and then quit, if my goal is to keep my hair as long as possible? The question is: will I lose my baseline hair, when I use Propecia for a short period of time?

What's the point of using it short term? it's not a short term drug and doing this would be quite frankly, stupid.

I've seen your photos and you still have good hair, now the best drug you can take to keep is propecia, you may shed, but it has to get worse before it gets better and not everyone has really bad sheds.

After a month on propecia (at various dosages) I have noticed that I have more hairfall, but I notice that previously thinning areas are already looking thicker. I see new hairs sprouting at my temples as well.

I had to go through a crazy adjustment period at first though. My body didn't like reducing DHT and increasing T to make up for it. I'm fairly sure that's why my balls hurt for a solid week. The only side effect I am experiencing now is a considerable decrease in ejaculate, which my gf did notice. Oh well.

The pain in the testicle is quite common, i got that too, but it goes away after 2 weeks generally.

started 14 days ago. just a little haze and depression(perhaps from just realizing my baldocity) at the beginning. just do it. you can weigh the cost/benefits in the moment. gets too bad, quit.

I started 2 weeks ago and I can't say I've noticed any severe side effects. I still want to bang everything with tits that moves, and my balls feel as normal as ever. I think a lot of it has to do with positive thinking. Don't dwell on it. Don't read the forums for hours everyday. I was busy for the past week and I didn't read them once. I just took my pill and kept on living and I feel great. If you convince yourself you are hazy, your balls hurt, and you can't get an erection guess what; you'll become hazy, your balls will ache, and you won't be having any fun in the bedroom. That's how I feel at least! The big three should be renamed the big four; minoxidil, nizoral, finasteride, and a positive attitude!
