Has this topic already been discussed ad nauseum? If so, can someone give me the general break down? Is it bad, good, or is there little effect?

Harmless can be a relative term. Any type of smoke is toxic, no matter the source. Additionally, THC impairs immune function, which is why a non psychoactive metabolite is being studied as a possible treatment for Crohn's.

That said, taking a few hits every now and then probably isn't too bad for you, but chronic use is risky.

chronic smokers are usually much chiller than most. Most actors brad pitt, colin farrell smoke cigs and uhh..no problem in the hair dept.

Weed calms most people down..i say smoke it chill out...your relaxation is much more helpful to your hair then the smoke is detrimental.

^ Yep.

I smoke daily. I like it.

Takes the edge off my daily life, allows me to gain greater perspective into many subjects also.

They have found a higher testosterone level in smokers vs non-smokers. This may effect you indirectly.

Smokers in general, or smokers of weed in particular? And who's "they"?
