Not sure if this is already on here, New easily accessible search tool says naw though.

So letterman aired the lost bill hicks performance, which was as he will say canceled way back in 1993. Just a year before Bill's death.

Anyways Bill hicks is amazing, so here's the gig, still relevant over a decade later.

This is Letterman's introduction-[youtube:3svmsbcf]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kUbB_D-dYp8[/youtube:3svmsbcf]

Mhm.

He was really progressive as well. Some of his jokes make you look at things differently. Very few comedians have this effect on me personally at least.

Plus I love anyone who character assassinates Rush Limbaugh

I do too, but notice how Bill Hicks mispronounced the word "flaccid". A lot of people say FLASS-UD like he did, but the correct pronunciation is FLAK-SUD, much like the words "success", "accelerate", "access", etc. Funny how so many people overlook the obvious similarity to those words.

How about Fettuccine? Fetuksini?

No wonder voice recognition technology is still so far away from perfection.

Bryan, what do you feel about Ebonics, and what about the usage of "foreign" words in everyday English such as Fettuccine, Guru etc...How about recent word additions related to social networking and tech related lingo?

I don't care much for Ebonics, but I welcome the acquisition of words from foreign languages. It enriches our own language.

I did not know that. I'm starting to realize just how bad and lazy my English is. Personally I pronounced it "Flaccid".
