So we have lots of pontification on male pattern baldness..
IMO the problem is DHT in the scalp tissue.. If we think about this—it explains everything.. Males gradually accumulate DHT in scalp to the point it starts killing the hairs.. Finasteride lowers scalp DHT so many get some hair regrowth.. BUT the male body keeps producing DHT anyways & we eventually hit a plateau.. & then status quo & eventually regression overtakes the benefits. all the while —males suffers decreased libido etc..
So we have to find a way to decrease scalp DHT in other ways..
Women have very low DHT & we see how their hair is thick & flowing & growing.. Very low scalp DHT..
And all the hair growth devices, oils, products are all trying to fight against this problem with varying degrees of success to shift the balance over the median to hair regrowth…
The good news is I am starting to see some statements about addressing this central problem…
If we can identify the problem concisely our mind can start to imagine solutions
