I was switched over to the Dr. Reddys version from Walgreens several months ago. Since they were still charging me $200+ for a 90 day supply, I swiched to Costco Pharmacy, which uses Cambers at a cost of only $30 something every 90 days. In my opinion the Cambers product has improved my condition, and I do feel like I lost ground with Reddys. The Cambers finasteride is a bit larger than the Reddys version. Maybe a larger coating of inactive ingredients helps survive the stomach? For those who don't know finasteride is cheap as hell to produce, so price may not tell you anything about whether it is a legitimate generic.

Costco doesn't sell Camber anymore. It sells Actavis now and the price dropped to $25. In theory Actavis is better than Camber since it is not made in India.

I have only tried Activis, and can say it definitely works in the sense that it immediately got rid of my scalp itch. Costco $25 3 month supply = $8.33 a month. Can't attest to it's long term effect though.
