Update: last few days have been insane. I've lost so much hair it's just mind boggling. I'd say In the span of the last few days I went from a Norwood 2 to a 3. I'm beginning to suspect I am diabetic or hypoglycemic. Idk, it just sucks. Like I'm living in a horror movie.

Have you been to a doctor to get blood work done?

I got blood work recently. Only abnormality I had was high bilirubin, which is always high for me. Probably Gilberts Syndrome. I've begun to suspect I might be diabetic or hypoglycemic, cause I have so many other weird symptoms. I'm scheduling a doctors appointment as soon as I can.

My hair is so weird, like it seems like it's even thinning on my sideburns, my horseshoe area, and even my pubic hair seems like it's less dense than before, but I can't be sure about that last one. Hopefully the doctors can tell me something. I hope it's not just really aggressive male pattern baldness.

Double post :/ sorry. Been really depressed recently. It seems like my only hope is propecia, but whenever I take a medication I usually end up with at least 1 side effect. I have terrible luck, and feel I will end up being one of those guys with permanent erectile disfunction from propecia. I fear there is looking like there are no options for me. Well... 1 option (see thread title). Idk, I hate when chemicals fuss with my body, but im thinking if there's a chance I'm ganna end it anyway I might as well try propecia right? Then why am I still so scared to?

Shocked and horrified. My insurance denied my request to see the hair specialist that's just over the state line. My heart is completely broken. How pathetic is our healthcare system that a stupid artificial line is the difference between getting someone the care they desperately need or letting them rot. I don't know of any other specialists like this. I'm just completely skrewed.
