To everyone I come in contact with I'm just a regular happy guy but they have no idea I constantly check my temples and thinning spot, obsessing about the inevitability of my impending hair loss. That's why I appreciate this place, otherwise you feel like you're an overly insecure guy while other thinning or balding guys just move on.
It seems that this site gets divided into the regular, slightly insecure people who want to save their hair and chat with other guys going through the same thing (like myself), and those who just hate life and want to bring everyone else down. Some of the people, no names mentioned, on here have some real issues.

The first. I believe you have misconceptions about yourself and are too hard on yourself, but you always seem respectful of other members. I'm talking about those who just come here to troll and start fights.
I don't judge you for being hard on yourself, I go through that at times too. I believe it's more about me than hairloss though. I just think I have some deep-rooted image issues I have to deal with and the hair loss didn't help. By all accounts people say I'm good looking but coming from a berating family where your father constantly makes fun of every detail and going through the chubby awkward phase of middle school can definitely leave you constantly ridiculing yourself.

yeah i concur its pathetic, it won't work for ugly guys or socially awkard guys. Its same with those self -improvement and positive thinking books, it can only mess up your mind even more.
