1. Obviously you cant style your hair the way youve always done so because of the scalp showing in certain areas
2. your head starts to look a lot bigger because your hair no longer provides a contrast between your skull and body. Having a huge load of hair makes the head appear smaller because it hides the skull and frames the face. Once the hair is thinner in diameter, it starts to look glued to the head and the head becomes bigger looking.
3. Fly away hairs grow out of your head. You start to have fly away hairs like women do. Men arent supposed to have that. Whether gelled or not, most men's hair seems to be exact replicas of each other thus creating an equal plane of hair. Men with thinner hair seem to have hairs flying out of their scalp especially when their hair is gelled..you could see wierd hairs that arent held together with the other hairs and seem to just grow out of nowhere.
4. As soon as the hair is thinner, weather becomes a problem. Like a women, you wonder why you are having a bad hair day and step outside and realize its humid out. These things didnt affect you when your hair was its normal diameter.
5. When combed or blow dried back, if your hair is long you start to feel indentations in your fro. its not one solid poof anymore.
6. the entire texture of your hair changes. you can put your fingers on any area and immediately the hair will fall underneath your fingertips and youll feel scalp as opposed to having to part your hair in order to feel scalp.
Anyone notice these things too the minute their hair changed in diameter?
