Think i'm going to switch to the liquid over foam. Too late?

Yeah I am shedding with three weeks of using it coming up on Friday but I think the problem is like Ryan R. which is I still have too much (thin) hair. I think if I use the liquid with the dropper (yeah it will make my hair look thinner) I might be able to get to the spots I want to without getting at least what I feel like is 50 % of the foam in the hair.

Is it too late to switch or do I still have time where it won't make a significant impact?

why dont you use the liquid at night and not worry about the thinness

and the foam during the day to minimize the mess

i think using both is the best way to go

cheers mate

Any studies? How do you know they wont mess with each other's effectiveness (delivery systems, etc)?

why would they mess with each others effectiveness

they are in essence the same drug

maybe one is better than the other
but using both at one time would definitely not be counter productive

i dont know of any studies at the moment

i use this method myself because the liquid is much cheaper than the foam

and im not able to use the liquid during the day because it makes my hair look "wet" for like 5 hours
which is something i can not have

i would probably use the foam day and night if i could
but the foam is very expensive
and i use more than the capful dose

so it could get very costly

i also think its alot easier to use the dropper to apply the liquid minoxidil
instead of trying to part your hair and apply the foam
you can also feel free to use more of the liquid minoxidil because its sooo cheap and not feel like your burning money

the choice is yours

cheers mate

Their delivery systems are different and they are chemicals, maybe something cancels something out? I have no idea but was just wondering. Is there any reliable source which says using both is ok?

Dr Rassman says there should really be no difference between the liquid and the foam as long as both are the same percentage. I switch back and forth between the liquid and the foam all the time and I notice no problems. The foam just makes the hair look thicker. I used to liquid a few days ago for a few days and then used the foam yesterday. As long as you are using either it will not change anything significantly. The drops are just easier and less messy to apply so I get lazy and just use the drops plus I use minoxidil with topical finasteride hoping it will be even better. I dropped my dosage to once per day of minoxidil and so far no significant changes. I use the hairchi in the morning and I think that works just as good as minoxidil if not even better.
