thinking about uping the dose

hi all
i'm on 0.25mg finasteride (1/4 propecia) for one year now, and lately i've been thinking about upping the dose to 0.5mg except the fact that it will cost me more money there is change between the doses?

i've never try more the 0.25 because someone here upload reserech that say 0.25mg effective as 1mg

Why are you thinking of increasing the dosage? I am on the same dosage as you, going onto my 4th month. Have you gotten any regrowth? What months did you get your sheds? What is your routine?

there is no data that shows it is as "effective" as 1mg

it is close, but I would not take .25mg if i wanted to get best results
