Made a few posts on this already but my story is this: I’ve been on finasteride 1mg daily for 8 months. I use Regepure DR Daily and every 3 days switch it out for nizoral Unfortunately, my hair seems to have gotten worse in certain parts of my head; My temples have receded further, the area behind my hairline has lost a lot of density and the same can be said for the rest of my bean, general diffuse thinning. My hair loss is slightly odd in that my left side has some minor temporal recession but couldn’t be said to be worse that a NW1.5. My right side is in my mind in Norwood 3 territory. I have mild dandruff from using Keto daily, but this is the only thing which truly calms the itch. Minoxidil isn’t really an option for me because of its inhibition of collagen production. Please if you are going to advise me don’t suggest minoxidil. I understand it’s still the most effective growth stim we have but I really just don’t want to. I have periodically tried things from Swiss Temples Ghetto protocol: Oral and Topical castor. Did this for a couple of weeks and I did get a couple terminal hairs growing about a centimetre in front of my hairline. I gave it up as it was a hassle. I have a few questions.

what are my options moving forward in terms of aggressive regimes? Ideally this isn’t the route I’d like to take as they seem time consuming, and often riddled with sides. Also there are numerous posts of people switching from finasteride to dutasteride for example and having monster sheds. Despite this I think it’s time I bite the proverbial bullet and started doing the most I can. So, what is the best way to go about this? Topical anti androgens? Seti? Anti Histamines? LicL and wounding? dutasteride? Castor oil and DSMO? What is the most cost effective, least time consuming option I have to tackle this from every angle while keeping my risk of sides and sheds to a minimum?

Yeah seems sensible, although I’d imagine if you aren’t a finasteride responder chances are you might not respond to dutasteride either. Also increased risk of sides which I suffer from slightly with finasteride - ball ache and depression. Anyway dutasteride seems like a good option yes. What else?

I have no side at 0.5mg Dutasteride ... but 0.5mg is not enough at all ... at 1 or 2mg a day : no sex drive at all (!!!).
I have a friend, he takes 1 to 2mg a day ... no problem with his libido. And he had massive regrowth.
Seti, Dutasteride, LicL and wounding, Ru/Cb/Daro, Keto shampoo, Stemyoxidne... would that be enough?

What about topical (not oral!) spironolactone?
Might as well throw zix in while you are at it ;)

How significant were your results with the swiss temple protocol? What is that? I've never heard of it and I'm willing to try it.

Androgenetic Alopecia can create collagen buildup on the scalp which leads to fibrosis according to some research so minoxidil makes sense on the scalp. Stop being a pussy, aging side effect is broscience, been on it for 6 years and I have aged at a normal rate.

What I find weird is that decreases PGE2 which is desired as far as I know, but the helmet laser thing increases it, and has also shown some positive stuff on research.

I tried topical spironolactone for a while on the weekends.. sh*t does nothing but make your hair greasy and smell weird.

Topical spironolactone has mixed reviews, but only applying it for two days a week would definitely not give you results.

I don't like the idea of using AR inhibitors chronically.

I can understand that but it is not worth using something where it won't work for sure and then say it does nothing. It would be like if the OP decides to use Minoxidil twice a week and then declare it does nothing.

But there is research showing minoxidil results after some months and it's safe

Now I don't know any studies on long term usage of AR inhibitors and my theory is that there is a risk that it can make it much worse due upregulation, personally don't want to risk it.

Yeah ...
I don't think Seti is really a cure, but I could be wrong. And if it's really working it could be better than Dutasteride, because you could have side effects with an anti-5alpha-r ...
Maybe you could try RU + Seti ... or Darolutamide ... or something else.
I think Dutasteride is the best, but it can mess your hormones profile for a long time. I regret I have started it.

Why do you regret it? How long have you been on duasteride?

Daro, dutasteride, seti (later fevi) and if you loose your hair on this you’re just destined to be bald
