thinking of quitting Minoxdil because of shedding

kirkland 5%, ONCE A DAY AT NIGHT prob been on it about 4 weeks, im a nw2, and i went from stable to shedding now ( FUK !!!!!!!!!!! )

im thinking of dropping minoxdil treatment, i have been on generic finstride for about 9 months now i plan to stay on that though


what do u guys think i should do , i was so stable and never had any hairs on my hands in the shower, now i wash my hair and have like 15 hairs on my hands , havent had a shed like this since i was 18 (22 now)

Okay, few questions. Are the hairs you're shedding smaller weaker hairs or are they fully grown terminal hair? I experienced shedding twice on minoxidil, but the hairs that would fall are smaller weaker hairs that were dying anyway. It could be the miniaturized hairs falling out.

Honestly, I'd recommend that you stay on it for 4 months, that's where the results are best seen. But, a shedding is a good sign that the medication is working.

I have the same, but ur supossed to shed. Read into how the mechanism works. U should wait it out.

Definitely wait it out. I saw massive sheds 6 months ago (i've been using it for 2 years). It's very cylical. But overall my hair has definitely improved and gotten thicker. I use it all over my head.
