Im using minoxidil for 6 months and some msm and biotin, is this male pattern baldness or im a cancer patient ? i believe in few years my head will be cat whiskers

No big trouble since a year ago (I was 24) when I started treatments.

Now I´m recovering.

Some people have thick, dense hair since birth to death, and others have a different kind of hair.

Some people have big ears, another have ridiculous noses, and others have eyes with different colours in each one.

Even there are some that born with a ridiculously small penis, like Sir Gardener, and still, become MVN.

Don´t trouble yourself in excess.

umm, you guys should probably stop using flash... it REALLY skews the view. just take pics under normal/brighter lighting, no flash. that way you can see what your scalp realistically looks like. With flash a lot of non-male pattern baldness people would also show scalp (although not as much as with male pattern baldness). Just a thought for YOUR self-esteem.

lol i really dont think the flash can produce that much white. I have a good haircut though with dermatch and most people can't even tell im losing my hair. I know unbelievable!

I dont have long till i have to give it the buzz though, i said that i would have to about 2years ago, but im still hanging on to it. But realistically i think i have about 6months left.

um, yea, you are wrong, I am a beyond-amateur photographer, and I know the effects of a flash, especially when it comes to making a light color appear lighter/brighter/more expansive. TRUST ME. and if you don't, try it yourself:

a) take a picture of your scalp with flash (normal light condition - i.e., bathroom, outdoors, whatever)

b) take THE SAME picture, *without* flash, again must be normal light conditions. you will see a noticeable difference, and realistically speaking, the non-flash photo is what people say when they look at you. remember, this is for the sake of your low self-esteem... I'm not making this up.

You guys realy need to cut that hair short because its suprising how much better it'll look when cut down, even buzz it if you can.
Holding on to the long hair like that will only depress you more and the loss will look much more obvious.

Hey hey! Finally some folks on this board with the SAME problems as me. I've been shedding hair from all over my head for a little over a year now. You're photos are almost exactly the same as mine.

Lets figure this sh*t out.

By the way, poodle is right. Shave your head and you'll be pleasantly surprised by how much hair you still have. It'll boost your confidence. I've dont it twice now and am always happy with the results.

Ok I'll take some pictures of my sides with the flash off. But i know when i look in the mirror there are no flashes around and huge bald spots.

For some reason I have had 2 similar bald spots on my sides from when i was young, it has just got really thin. It is not just thin at the sides it is really thinning on the top.

I always get my haircut short, I have been around longer enough to know how to cope. I have just come back from 2 months travelling round Europe so my hair had gotten longer. Every day I just wish I could hang on to the hair that I have left but it just gets worse.

Been on propecia maybe 2 years now. Money isn't that much of an issue as I have a good job, but it doesn't seem to be doing anything. Was on minoxidil as well but quit that because there was just too much of my head that i had to cover it was getting ridiculas. Tried it for 3 months didn't notice any improvement. If anything it got worse.

Who knows.... i just want hair!!!
