and I really really don't mean to be an ***. I really admire the guy for just completely ignoring it but I will admit I probably have some sort of issues and stuff. I could not accept it if it got that bad.
No it's perfectly fine. Trust me it gets easier as you get older

I agree, but some on here think that being bald at 80 is just as bad as being bald at 20,

Well it's the thing with social environment... when you're 20 practically no one has worse hair than a very thick NW2. When your generation is thirty genetics kick in and it's a lot easier to embrace your NW3, NW4... surely, it's not the best thing in the world, but it is easier. :)

I can't see the problem, KTP. If I looked like this guy I'd be pretty happy with my lot. He might not be Casanova but even with that Norwood he's a decent enough looking guy. That's all most of us need to aim for, realistically.

complete baldness is horrible, but really will anyone here ever go completely bald? a receding hairline and thinning hair adds character, hair is a characteristic but you don't need much at all to say something about yourself. allot of people here want NW1 model hair, that's just too damn generic for me, I embrace my shitty hairline.

Exactly there is hairloss and there is baldness and the difference between the 2 is massive. Its like the difference between being 5'7" and 4'7" one is annoying the other is devastating.

Agreed, problem is hair loss will typically lead to baldness eventually.

The problem with hair loss is the constant fear of sinking further into the abyss.

It's like over the course of one year going from a 6'2 guy to a 5'7, with the constant possibility that you might progress to 4'5.

If you show signs of Male pattern Baldness in your teens or twenties, you would most likely be a NW4 or above at some point in your life. All these drugs can just buy you time.

It seems to stop in different places for different people. Some people end at NW4, and some at NW7. Both of those are visible, but they offer quite different outcomes in terms of a) the looks you can pull off, and b) your treatment options.

Of course, in the long, long run most of us will end up losing a lot of hair. There is a form of hair loss which simply hits you because you're in your 70s and 80s, male pattern baldness or not, and can set your hair into a thinner state than it was before.

Even Tom Hagerty has this sh*t.

Well technically you could as you get older, you start shrinking, and your ears/nose gets bigger. :thumbdown2:

Yeah ok, I dont think theres many 6'2" guys who are destined to end up 4'5".
And for some baldguys they can go from NW1 - NW7 in 5 yrs which cant be said for the ageing effects you described.
