It does cost me a little but I think if I stick to it I will enjoy my current hair for loooooooong time.
here goes:
1.finasteride
2.Ru 58841
3. Topical dutasteride (every second day)
4. Apple polly (just tablets)
5. nizoral( I use twice a week but I hate it because it makes my hair dry and will propably try this new shampoo that will come out in a week REVITA).
so this is it.
If there was any regiment that would cover evry angle of MBP and have all the best and proven studies to work this is the one.
This costs me 180$ a month.
who knows maybe even with this regiment I will permanently stop my hair loss and will be keeping women's like environment in my scalp which will help me keep my hair.
What do you guys think of it?
I am between 1-2 Norwood age 22

I think your topical dutasteride is a waste of money considering we don't even know if it's effective as a topical. I think you should drop the finasteride and take dutasteride every day, and drop the apple poly. If all you want is to maintain your current hair then dutasteride and RU should be fine for that, apple poly is too friggin expensive. $2200 per year on medications is more than anyone should be spending.

My regimen:

dutasteride every day($360 per year)
Nizoral every third day($50 per year)
Nano every non-Nizoral day($90 per year)

$500 per year, or about $42 per month. Much more reasonable.

Just because we don't know if it's effective doesn't mean that it isn't. I think It may well be. I ve done a research and found few posts where some guys were saying that topical dutasteride has halted their hairloss like nothing else. I know it's not enough but i believe that topical dutasteride may work. As for apple polly. You are right it is so damn expensive that I am thinking of stoping it. It's just it has lots of studies and some on humans and pictures which prove that it does grow hair. So maybe I will keep it.

what the heck is the point of using a topical version that may work when you could drop finasteride and use the oral dutasteride which you KNOW will work?

I know that topical dutasteride hasn't been proven to work. But it's been proven that it does penetrate the skin. I know it's experimental. One thing I know is that dutasteride inhibits both types of AR. The only question is if it will work topicaly using liposomes. I think that answer is pretty obvious that it will work the same if not better?

What about topical finasteride? I bought it from http://www.multiflorum.com
Three lovely blue plastic bottles for about £30.00. Is this a load of crap and have I been conned, or is it worth a try, like topical Dutasteride?
The main question I have, is does it really contain finasteride? There doesn't seem to be a lab that will test for that.

Tropical dutasteride does work. But not how we would like. It works by absorbion into the skin and body. I dont think it helps the hair follicle directly but it is systimaticaly absorbed. Might as well take 1mg a week dutasteride oral.

I have tried dutasteride 3x now over the year. Each time after a week or so I get puffly / sore nipples and it continues to get worse if I stay on it. I even tried tropcial dutasteride and after a week exactly the same puffy/nipples

RU, the most powerful androgen receptor blocker we have, and it's so fragile I will have to let it thaw for 2 hours to room temp before mixing it up. $390 for 10g is not that bad. It is the same price as brand name propecia. But I'm not even buying real avodart for price reasons.

Hey, newbaldy84, how bad is your hair loss?

Id say it's not THAT bad. My right temple though is the worse. I got big shed after I started spectral DC and after big shed I stopped using it. Now with my regimen i am getting back what i lost during that big shed and it looks better every week. I am close to the point where I was before that shed. I would say I am bewteen 1-2 norwood.

CCS so by using Ru there is no need to use topical dutasteride because it does the same thing only better? or would using topical dutasteride benefit me somehow?

I really think the regimen you're suggesting is overkill for someone who is between an NW1 and 2. I'd stick with just the fincar for atleast a year maybe add minoxidil that's it. As far as dutasteride topical pssshh that's just crap don't waste your dough.

not over kill. It will take a lot to keep the hairline in place till you're 50, especially if you are trying to preserve the 16 year old hair line. If you can keep that, you will have a big advantage over other guys your age.
