I've honestly never seen such a big collective group of sad, pathetic people in one location (online forum.) I think this site is borderline worse for some just wallowing in self pitty and depression. This dude made one comment that his balding sucks. Meaning it sucks that it's right in the back no hiding it. Some of y'all need to drive your vehicle off a high bridge, srs.

Some of the people here do have legit shitty hair loss so they'll act up. Others just jump on the wagon to be douches. All that aside here's some options for you:

1. Wait for world hair congress to get an update on announcements for upcoming treatments which is in a couple of months.

2. Try Dermarolling with a 1mm roller + Minoxidil and even Finasteride if you want to test out how it works for you. I'd say give it a year.

3. Use a thickening shampoo for now. With your loss you can buy yourself a few years and then see how far treatments have progressed. You can top concealer as you have been and it should work for the time being.

Oh yea forgot to mention that the upcoming treatments if successful, would resolve your problem since your loss isn't as bad and you're older as well.

don't see the point in playing this game. Someone always has it worse, I can say the same thing to Polar bear. Be grateful you can still walk and see, people have it much worse. Doesn't really help the situation in my opinion.

Thank you. Well this is how I am trying to explain this to myself...almost 40, kind of expected to have some loss. I have started minoxidil 7 weeks ago and will continue for full 6 months. My patch has not got bigger in last 2 to 3 years so I hope (due to my age) minoxidil can help at least to maintain and maybe regrow some hair. To all of these guys here who made all shity comments...grow up. Thanks

I will try and explain why you sounded very silly, man, and why you should grow up too.
Most people here have had their youth and self esteem totally ruined by the scorn and bullying deriving from losing their hair since they were 18, 17, 16.
During my first visit with a dermatologist at 18, he said "I am not even sure a transplant could help you".
And at 40 you dare say your small bald patch... Is the WORST kind of baldness? Do you not think it is offensive to all the young sufferers here?
