ya i think you have reached that 'balding' or 'weak hair' / 'middle aged man hair' stage. You could consider taking finasteride as it will likely work for you with no side effects (but do research into the drug). Don't think you should go full shave yet though, why not try shaving the sides and back to a 1 guard and keepijng the top a bit longer? It tends to look better and make the hair appear thicker and hair loss appear less

well thanks but I dunno how to take that... real talk, just got divorced with an extremely good looking person, and it had something to do with my hair line (lmao no it didnt'). However I am a bit worried about all that, I think I might say f' it and #2 buzz cut my head and deal with my head/facial good looks

If you mean by american you mean a decent looking D1 college educated person that lives in north america, i'll take it as a compliment. If your point is to say you think I look like a typical american dumb jock, I'll take that as you'd like to lick my balls. Either way, you're my biggest fan.
No offence, but you look a little unkempt in your current state. Shave your facial hair, buzz the sides shorter, lose some fat on face/body and do something with your skin, it looks oily and seems like you have big pores. It's all treatable.
If you experience hair thinning or hairline recession, you have to take DHT-inhibitors (finasteride/dutasteride), and, for the better and faster cosmetic effect, some growth agents like minoxidil + dermaroller, topical antiandrogens, etc. Good luck.

Are you serious?! I just gave you some general advice how to improve your overall look, that's it. It's important, especially when you are balding. I don't know what kind of fantasy you're cooking up in your head, but anyway this is your problem, not mine.
