I have noticed for my case that befor emy male pattern baldness days, my scalp have been constantly clogged with sweat and dandruff.....It may have triggered male pattern baldness...usually those early sufferers will have excessive sweating before male pattern baldness starts?[/url]

Inflammation is a biproduct of the cause. Even the snake oilers out there who sell inflammation treatments to "treat hair loss" admit its just a biproduct of the true cause (thereby contradicting themselves when they call it a cure).

Its probably a vicious circle > male pattern baldness causes inflammation > inflammation increases male pattern baldness.

Reducing inflammation should help reduce your loss but isnt a cure.

This is true. This is why shampoos such as Nizoral are effective against hairloss (as a treatment not a cure).

my scalp used to sweat a lot as well. especially just before the hairloss became noticeable.

That´s your own opinion and a dangerous one for those who want to keep their hair. Inflammation is the cause of hairloss.

A truth with modifications. Yes, inflammation may be the culprit. But what causes the inflammation? The answer: DHT.

As you now understand, trying to cure you inflammation involves the DHT-problem. Otherwise, only focusing on the inflammation-issue is like putting bandages on a sick patient - it may help a bit, but won't cure the patient.

The general order of things:

dht (or other androgens)------- :eek: -------receptor sites------- :x------inflammation------ :( ------fibrosis :evil:.

So yes, inflammation is a step in the overall process, but a later one at that. So, like gourmetstylewellness.com said, inflammation is a biproduct of the underlying cause.

AR binding --> AR complex moves from cytoplasm to nucleus --> DNA transcription ---> mRNA translation --> protein synthesis (creation of cytokines (TNF-alpha,TGF-beta), changes in hair morphology,etc.) --> autoinmune response

I think it might be something like that, although I might be entirely wrong. :!: :!:

If someone can just manage to find a way to stop any of the processes, it will be a great boon to treating male pattern baldness. DHT blocking is not enough as 100% DHT blockage is not possible
