I never knew how many balding celebrities women ogled at. Not even that but the fact some of them actually prefer balding guys. Just read through the comments on this page and hopefully it will cheer you up a bit like it did me. Of course we all would like a full head of hair but at least now I can walk around knowing not everyone will see my hair as disgusting. I'm convinced that the way you maintain yourself, clothes, physique, job, confidence all play a bigger role than hair for most women.
cleverusername, I appreciate their positive comments on baldness, and you are right - attitude is very important -and I congratulate you in trying to move on with the hairloss issue. However some things said in that article disturb me a bit like this response for example:
''as long as i get some quality adoration, i don't care where your hair went''
It's clear that they are really okay with hairloss as long as it is not happening to them and they can still look pretty. But what if it was happening on them? And why is it not okay for men to better their appearance? Are only women allowed to be pretty?
To counter this argument, the author of the article brings the 'cellulite' argument, saying that women suffer from this therefore men must suffer from some type of disfigurement so that we are equal (i.e. hairloss). I tend to disagree to some extent because cellulite cannot be attributed to 'female disfigurement' since it occurs most as a result of sloth, gluttony and comfort. While it is true that women are very propense to accumulate fat deposits as 'cellulite', men are even more likely to develop a pot belly as they get older. But still, a pot belly occurs for the same reasons as women get overly fat: Sloth, gluttony and comfort.
