Why does no one use rosemary essential oil instead of rogaine, finasteride, etc.? Does rosemary oil really work, and how effective is it for regrowing and maintaining hair?

good result for AA
Eighty-six patients were randomized into 2 groups. The active group massaged essential oils (thyme, rosemary, lavender, and cedarwood) in a mixture of carrier oils (jojoba and grapeseed) into their scalp daily. The control group used only carrier oils for their massage, also daily.

I have been using rosemary essential oil for a month and half till now and to be realistic the effect is weaker and slower compared to minoxidil but is fact there is maybe a little chance for a thickening and maybe little regrowth, and i barely start seeing it now,but i want to hear also another opinions for this rosemary essential oil from other people using it.. i personally start using it after i saw it on youtuber Nick Shell.

I use it mixed with apricot oil. Based on my research in mice it is a strong topical anti androgen, I am unsure how strong it is on humans or how long it inhibits. I also think the regrowth would be minimal but it is good for maintaining. It is also an anti inflammatory and seems to increase PEG2. There are not a lot of studies on it. It was shown to be similar to 2% minoxidil diluted to I believe 3-5%....I dilute mine to be about 50% pure oil.

Yes I do use this as well. I also dermaroll and do head massages and use Nizoral. I am unsure if I have male pattern baldness or lost a lot of hair due to thyroid and weight loss drugs but I entertain that it could be male pattern baldness. My hair is rapidly growing back.
