What kind of hair loss does a person with thyroid have ? I'm going to get blood work done as it seems I could possible have thyroid. If I did, does that mean this whole time I was on finasteride it was a waste ? I still shed to this day while on it and it's been over a year.

I doubt a thyroid problem can be cured anymore than male pattern baldness anyways. A lot of the stuff surrounding thyroid issues sounds like a lot of hokum to me. A bunch of symptoms almost everyone has. Probably better off taking finasteride than those thyroid hormone drugs.
