Hi,
I have been using Propecia once a day for about half a year now, and Nizoral shampoo 2 times a week for about 3 months. I have not been using rogaine, mostly because I am lazy, but also because its not the hair thickness that concerns me.
Anyway, after 6 months it does not seems like the pills give much effect. I have noticed a slightly lower hair count in the shower, but the shedding is still pretty noticeable. When reading a book, I often find hairs falling down, when at work I often find hairs at my desk. My friends/colleagues does experience the same thing, so it looks like I still are heading towards male pattern baldness.
Would it be a good idea to change from Propecia to Avodart? Is there any reason not to change or add avodart to my daily dose? I have a pretty dark voice and a rather masculine face, so it might seem like I do have a lot more DHT than whats average. Maybe Propecia is not strong enough. What do you think?
