What I do on the meetups is I post a comment on the meetup page saying I'm new to the group and I don't recognize myself. I describe myself, what I'm wearing, etc and eventually someone finds me, or offers me their phone number to find them.

typical hyper NT behaviour

david i havent followed everything in this thread....

are you frustated by the lack of hot girls your getting matched with? or frustated by the lack of the other things..personality, intelligence etc?
All of the above.

My most significant problems, in no order, are:
Mediocre looks
Depression
Aspergers'
Difficulty connecting to new people, which is partly due to points # 1,2, and 3
Erectile dysfunction since I was 23

Everyone's on the spectrum, but people only say they're on the spectrum if they're not within the normal range.

Longest I've gone without jerking off is 38 days once, 34 days another time. It's very hard to do. I was getting lively, frequent erections, and waking up in the middle of the night because i was horny. I then jerk off once and I'm back to square one.

sh*t man its tough isnt it

your posts really confused me. your clearly very smart and very knowledgeable about lots things but seem a bit loss in other areas, like dating etc. social disorders obviously explain that

honestly i would def try to improve your looks like we all said. i think doing this would help ALOT in attracting hotter girls but more your type..there must be hot intelligent, but also socially awkward girls out there. not hot like instagram hot, but still cute you know.

with your average looks now, your only gonna get sh*t matches man. waste of time. i say spend the next 6 months getting into shape, get a stylist for your hair and clothes, look into nose thing maybe. I GUARANTEE youll get better matches. f*** the dates with 3/10 fatties. WASTE OF TIME

not sure how to help with social disorders. therapy maybe? f*** knows. im sure i have a few myself. def have anxiety issues. and depression.

those social disorders are caused by hair loss.
only the cure of baldness can cure that disorder(sadly)

Well, this proves that your erectile problems are not physiological but psychological.

In some ways that must be a comfort

Make sure you're getting enough sleep, exercise and your diet in on point.

These three things helped my depression, social anxiety and motivation. And looks to a point.

All my teachers would tell my parents that I had aspergers to some degree, thankfully my parents were never interested in medicating or anything.

Now as an adult it seems to be much less severe though. To the point that I question whether I really have aspergers. Definitely as a kid though, probably never made eye contact until I was 16.

Unfortunately I cannot work out until April. I have a paraumbilical hernia. Bureaucracy made it really hard to see the surgeon. When I finally saw him, it was just before his month-long vacation. I get the surgery in February and then for six weeks I can only lift 15 lbs or less.

The best way to deal with social failings is to interact socially. I'm going out on dates even if they lead nowhere just to go out on dates. It's also why I go to meetups. Like @pjhair I don't actually like most of those people, but there's value in interacting with a broader crowd than the privileged academic scientists I deal with everyday.

Hair loss isn't a core problem for me. I'm different from the rest of the forum.

I had a lot of problems and one day I noticed thinning/recession. I thought "f*** me I don't want to deal with hair loss in addition to my other problems".

When I'm particularly down/depressed/stressed I will go for a 5km run and just run as fast as possible. Absolutely kill myself physically.

I swear to god it's such a good form of therapy for me. Usually it manages to completely shift whatever was worrying me back in my head essentially deprioritizing it. Hard to worry about hair loss or anything when you're physically in bits.

Usually have a few hours of feeling ok then afterwards. Then the worries slowly creep back.

well in my case i wud say 60%of my anxieties are caused by hairloss.
and the thing is it's hard to deal with this anxiety due to hair loss
it keeps coming back and back and there's society which will definitely remind u abt it.
it's kinda hard

but i have found a solution to get rid of these anxieties
there are some good soundtracks from the movies and it helps me to divert my mind away from all those worries
it works for me somehow.
