Imagine how frustrating it is when you have good success in real life, but get almost ZERO play on dating apps like Tinder/Bumble. I've slept with 4 different girls in the past month (all 7 and up, 3 of them 7.5 or better) and get approached by or given obvious signs of interest by women fairly regularly when I go out. Yet when I set Bumble to a 100 mile radius, I've only had about 4 girls even swipe right on my pics in the past 8 weeks (I'm an upgraded member, so I can see who actually swiped right on me even if we don't match). 100 mile radius! I live in NY. And these 4 girls were on average in the 4-6 range (I'm around a 7.5-8.0 currently).
It's baffling to me. It's frustrating because as a natural introvert, it takes a lot of energy for me to go out 1-2 times every week and socialize, and there are weeks where I wish I could just use these apps instead. But I get basically no play. Yet in real life I regularly receive unsolicited compliments on my looks (even now) and have all my life. I realize I've mentioned this in the past and sound like a broken record, but it's really frustrating because I can't explain it.
