Tingling sensation?

My scalp has felt weird during the last couple of days... the new shampoo I tried seems to have ridden most of the seb. dermatitis and the scalp pain, but now I'm getting a tingling sensation instead. It isn't pain, it's just this feeling like someone is moving my hair or something. It doesn't make me wanna scratch the scalp or anything, it's just damn annoying. Anyone else had this?

That sounds strange. I am all too familiar with the scalp pain and seborrheic dermatitis you talked about as I suffer from it myself, but I've never heard of anything like that. What shampoo are you using?

YES. i feel that at times when im concentrating on it, or when im going through a shed. I cant stand it...it feels like a hair is falling out and falling into other hairs moving them.

if you brushed a feather gently on the tips of your hair, thats the closest feeling i could relate it to. i thought i was the only one who felt this. its awful, sometimes i feel it while im talking to people and just want to stick my head under a hair dryer repeteadly to make it stop.

It's a Swedish shampoo for seb. dermatitis and flaking called "Selukos". I hate this f*****g feeling although I would pick this over the constant itching.

Yeah that's the feeling exactly. I just don't think I'm shedding that badly atm, when running my hand through my hair I don't see lots of hair.

I have the same problem. I never had a problem with my scalp before starting Propecia. I now have had almost daily pain/tingling for over a year now.

Sometimes I get a tingling feeling from Rogaine shortly after putting it on. I love it because it gives me the impression it's working.

i periodically feel that tingling sensation, mainly when i alter something in my regimen. I can only hope and wish that it is good and I tell myself that it is actually the feeling of hair growing. Not likely, but a just hope.

Its the same as nizoral..but the brandname here in norway is fungoral..my derm told me that some shampo called bio+ was great and it had tar in it and that was one one the reasons it calmed the scalp.

But the tingling could be a good thing? Atleast when i dont was my hair for like 4 days my scalp itches quite a bit..but the tingling i get when my scalp it fresh out of the shower.

And I read about your complex with your forhead..I really didnt notice it when i looked at your pics..but hell everybody got something..You look like hockey player or so..isnt that the only thing you do up there

Yeah well I don't know if my forehead is THAT huge... I have a big jaw too so it kinda evens out. What do you mean I look like a hockey player? Is there a certain rule what hockey players look like? :D Actually I used some bio+ shampoo last year and I think it was pretty good actually... should probably buy a bottle of it again.
