Back on topic, I just want these guys to know their lives are not over and that they must not write themselves off. I have friends who are not attractive and they have partner who are attractive (the bastards!).

What most of us need to do is make best of a bad situation. And I know some people are in a worse situation then others but that is no reason to give up. Sure, you may have less hair then you like but you can still improve yourself. Whether that is with taking hair medication or a hair transplant, or whether that is the gym, teeth whitening, better clothes. Or even focusing other very important things such as: career, skills, confidence, learn a language, help other people, or whatever it is that makes you move forwards.

The reason I post all this, the reason I am making an effort is because some people are very young on here and they are very depressed. This break my heart. If there is anyway I can help them then I am more than willing to do so. They have their whole lives ahead of them -- more than fifty years in some cases! - and I'd love to know that they are a happy fifty years and not a miserable fifty years.

Yep, I shaved it with a razor and didn't like the feel of it to the touch. When I did a zero guard on my electric razor it had a touch of stubble and I much preferred it. Overall, I am glad I did it because I know that I don't look stupid bald and if it did all fall out one day then my life would go on. Right now I'm halfway through growing it back because I do prefer having hair.

If that's you, you do pull of the "bald" look (except you're not bald, as you still have a visible hairline). You pull of the shaved look. You have a good head shape and features that compliment the "bald" look. Are you tall? If so, consider yourself lucky (or as lucky as a balding guy can get).

If I looked awful bald then I would either get a hair transplant or work really hard on other features - like keep improving the body - so that I would have something else that would be sexy in me beyond having good hair. That's all you can do really - either get sad or work hard to get around what you are given. I know which one I prefer.

Right but you have those options.

Bodybuilding can work optimally for you as you have decent bone structure. The bald picture shows off your strong hands and long fingers.

Some people here cannot get hair transplants, as they are poor or have DUPA.

I do think some men value whatever they consider to be ideal hot (p**rn star vs couture model type)
and some women value money over other criteria with men..

so its a good match when these people find one another because they would make other people miserable.

If a gold digger type woman married a man who could not deliver than she would make his life hell
and if an unattractive man who wanted a trophy to live up to expectations he would make his ordinary wife miserable.

What contributed to this mentality? It applies to women as well looking for their trophy husbands; downtown Toronto financial district is notorious for this, where girls are chasing good looking guys that are bankers. I have some girl friends that are EXACTLY like that.
