So yesterday, I was really upset about something and when it happens, I shave my head, I don't know why exactly. As I only have 1500 hairs left on my NW5, I look pretty much bald when I shave it with no guard. Anyway, I went about my day and didn't notice anything different in the way people reacted to me. Some girls stared at me in the subway but I don't know if it's because I look good or because I look like an alien. I don't think I will ever find out, anyway I'm going down the FUE+SMP road :).

This solution has not been brought up yet int this thread: SMP (scalp micropigmentation), it can be temporary (2 to 5 years) and can yield amazing results if you have a good head shape and small ears. Desperate people with those features should look that up ;).

yes but what if a girl touches your "hair" and realises it's a tatoo.

in a relationship you'll get caught out fast, girls touch guys hair all the time.

yes ok FUE + SMP, but still, you will always have that buzz cut style ALWAYS, eventually a girl will ask "hey why don't you grow your hair OUT", it's socially aquard to always have that style, and most white men grow there hair out because they look 10x less attractive on buzz cut vs. grown out hair.

yes vin diesel, wentworth miller etc. but eventually no one would live like that forever.

That's Ok DB, we will hold your hand and walk you through it for as long as it takes until you understand. <______<

Your slow, but at least your heart is in the right place.

Because thick necks connote strength and stability which helps counter the perception of baldness being weak.

Because they are. We are all looking at each other every moment of every day making brief judgments calls like kneejerk responses almost involuntarily. We are constantly assessing each other. People respond to my bald head, I can attest for that. It is real, not some paranoid delusion. Sometimes it's subtle and other times it's blatant but it is always a constant factor. There are a few people at my work who have literally scoffed at me while passing through the hall. Now I'm a nice guy... anyone at my work who dares to know me knows that. It's just that there are always going to be those snoby, superficial people out there who won't see me as anything other than an inferior bald man.

Yes like i said people judge trust me i know i had it before hairloss...but the WHOLE WORLD is not judging you like you THINK they are...most dont give a damn...

I suppose it is a good solution, but you need to make sure you get a good job done somewhere, some of them are pretty bad.

yep, touching hair...that's how I was caught. Thought I was good with toppik and all but then she decided to play with my hair and playfully told me I was thinning. Since the jig was up I came clean but so far she's fine with it. Im far from nw6 though so we'll see.

sometimes I wonder if girls know our tricks and are trying to "check" if our hair is legit.

I know girls pull caps off guys 25+ to "check" what is underneath there. I think they suspect really quickly.

Well I have long hair so she naturally wanted to play with it Haha. I don't think she was searching for it and it didn't bother her a bit.

I suppose I would have told her eventually anyway.

I'm not sure on my plan, when to tell a girl my hair is fake, maybe after 2 months or 2 years, I don't like secrets.

well that is reassuring, yes I heard your story before, she said she wanted him to dump it after he told her lol.

I will be like that to, even if a girl wasn't bothered by it, I'm sticking to my guns on this one.

oh I must have gotten your story mixed up then.

I currently order from captainhair but I am moving to TopLace just now, so I should have a sytem like the one I linked there.

I had a chat with HIS clinic and they gave my a qoute for a complete top tatoo, it was £1000+, can't remember exactly, I opted against it due to not suiting a buzz down style, I'm sticking with the hair systems, but it's a good idea, the tatoo, but only if you can have some hair on top so a girl can "feel" your hair, unfortunately something I cannot do without expensive transplants.

Dont you think it is better to have a such type of wig in which hairs dont become your identity like grade 2,3 hair cut etc and at the same time also giving a shape to the face

in that way it will be easier for us to tell anybody in later stages of relationship

Or just tell them you are losing your hair...if they dont like it then tough **** you shouldnt have to hide something you cant help.

yeah I mean, really it is not THAT odd, especially if she is 25+!

in fact I plan to tell most women after 6 months that I wear, I don't see it as being a huge issue.

if you make it a problem, it will become a problem, women will react to how you act, they are looking for you're reaction first.

to be honest, if you have money like you do, it won't be a problem how much hair you have or don't have. Women care far more about money and a man's future life prospects than the way he looks. They're all gold-diggers in the end. You think if McCartney was bald, Heather Mills would have rejected his advances?

I agree with this too. If a woman dumps you because you wear a piece, she's not the sort you'd want to be with anyway

I agree with this. It's a relatively new relationship so I planned on telling her after a couple times spending the night. Eventually I would have to apply minoxidil anyway. Really it just depends on the girl, if you're fatally attracted to superficial girls then you may have a problem.

thanks for your support Quantum Cat

however, I may have grown up in a rich area, but it depends on the girls background, also depends on how tall she is vs. me.

note sure if they are all gold-digger in the end although I have had that before, it depends if she grew up in a flat or not, girls in my area have seen my family home before and do not react to it, it is only the girls that grew up in flats that make a big deal of this before (I have personal experience of this so don't argue with me), so it depends on her goals and stuff.

I want to be with a girl and we both like each other, so I am 5 9 (with lifts) she is 5 0, I still need to look nice for her, so that means NW1 for me, as I don't look like a mini vin diesel with no hair.

also some girls grew up in middle-class background thus don't care for a "sugar daddy" and are independent, it is not the 1940s any more women are more "equal" now and it has been scientifically proven that women care for looks 10x more than they did in the 1940s when a man was judged on being a "provider" more.

things have changed since then, women are on equal with men and they all want 5 10 NW1s, they don't care on the NW6's bank accounts unless super depserate or something.

that is why I hide in wigs/lifts to bring to NW1/5 9, when my true genetic self is NW5/5 4.5.

also A woman will never dump you because of a Hairpiece, if you have been together for 12+ months, she will not, this is not a big deal, it's just another excuse men make to say that is why that is why it will not work.

i'm middle class with no money so I don't have to worry about attracting a gold-digger. Parents are well educated but never earned much. My mental health issues (Bipolar) have made it hard for me to hold down a job, letalone get a good high paying career like I always wanted, and intended.

I think that women becoming more independent is both a good and bad thing for us. As you say, we no longer have to worry about being the 'provider' (although that's still an important issue for women especialy if they are looking for a long term relationship), but unless you're blessed with good looks, it can be as difficult at it always has been to attract a girl. If you're both poor and ugly, you're basically up sh!t creek. I think I'm average looking, but hairloss freaked me out and made me way more self concious of my appearance

Quantum cat how can u be "middle class and have no money"?

U gotta have some assets to be considered middle class, just because it isnt in cash form doesnt mean ur poor

Remember net worth includes everything u own (minus liabilities)

class isn't simply a money thing, or at least that's not how I see it. Maybe it's different in USA.

well, did you grow up in a rented flat, or did you grow up in a house on it's own with 2/3 bedrooms on the property ladder (aka mortgaged house)?
