when u feel the sides after stopping?

Well after a few weeks and felt much more sharp. After 7.5 years on it, it was hard to remember my baseline.

I would however say I didn't get any erections without stimulation. That said my libido became low before I started f'in, so I cant say if my lower libido would have been any better having taken finasteride or not. I was drinking a fair bit, and was struggling with some congestion induced sleep apnea, which I only resolved within the past 4 years. I struggled to get my libido back, and suspect it was maybe lower due to frequent binge drinking sessions. Nevertheless Ive been taking zinc since I've been 19, when I was 32 I switched to zinc picolinate, and I believe that made a huge difference, as I was getting rock hard pant busting erections.

Don't get me wrong, nothing it without it's risks. :) but isn't everything.... In hindsight I would have changed nothing. Ultimately, the sides were too much for me to live with.

I'd say if you get any significant sides, it's probably best to get off of it before any permanent damage, however trying for a month or two should be alright imo

Starting today. Will keep this thread posted down the line. Interesting tidbit my doctor told me I thought worth posting here for anyone who is taking finasteride and this may be applicable: if you are quartering a 5 mg pill, be sure to clean up afterwards as even a small trace amount of residue that is ingested accidentally by a pregnant woman can cause possible birth defects.

Update: It has been three weeks since I started finasteride (quartering 5 mg pill and taking that quarter each day). Absolutely no side effects to report whatsoever except one thing today - I noticed there are faint, yellow spots on my forearms that can only be seen in natural light. I know they are not bruises and the most likely cause is the change in hormones based on what I looked up regarding these symptoms (though still possible not related to finasteride at all) - just curious if anyone else experienced this and if it is anything to worry about or if they will simply disappear. I will certainly monitor them and if they increase in size or do not go away will let my doctor know - just curious if anyone else experienced this.

Oh wow that's a lot lol

I take 1000iu's + 800 that's in another one of my supplments + 700 in my multivitamin, so it comes out to 2500 iu's total
In other words, you waste money on supplements that don't do anything :D

Stand by your window, it's cheaper.

I have not noticed this or even heard of it as a finasteride side effect...

I never got that as a symptom, and from what I know it isn't a known symptom. I'd say nothing to worry about, but don't blame you for being cautious.

I took singulair for my sinuses and excess mucous, I would bruise easily and my feet would hurt and get frostbite easily. Sounds unlikely, but nothing is impossible.

Yep, spots already gone. Google search failed me this time. Sorry for the false alarm. I think that is one problem with trying to self-medicate - according to Google, everything is death.
