Me neither. Great post, Cassin. I would do the same exact thing and I have. The guy who sits next to me at work is also losing his hair, and his hairline is far worse than mine. The other day, I was describing myself over the phone to someone in our company so that they would recognize me in person. I told them I had black hair. When I hung the phone up, the guy next to me said, "Black hair? You're going bald." My response to him was, "Have you looked in a mirror yourself lately, fivehead?" Everybody in the room went "Ohhhhhhh, damn!!!" It felt great.

It's not always that simple as insulting the other guy back. Insulting their intelligence never works on the simple-minded in my experience, and many of these trash-talking morons never have anything visible that you can hammer them about.

I've been in a similar situation, back in high school (pre-hairloss). These guys harassed me for an entire semester my junior year, and the ONLY way to shut them up was to beat the crap out of one of them in front of everyone.

I know i'm talking about high-school, but some people will never change.

1. No, that doesn't make him less of a man, it makes him a man with a short fuse. The immature one is the guy trying to make someone's life miserable by insulting him about something that obviously bothers him.

2. Of course having your physical attributes insulted will offend you. Why else would he say it? He did SIMPLY to offend the creator of this thread, judging by the circumstance I'd say it wasn't a person he particularly knew well, yet still went ahead with the emotional blow.

3. clearly, the guy isn't dead. He might get charged for assault, and this definitely puts him in a bad spot, but how can you actually compare punching a guy in the face to killing him?

S'alright now. We have all suffered derogatory comments/attacks from idiots showing off to their mates.
These mindbullies also pick on the old, the short, the spectacled, the Irish etc. anyone with the slightest little physical or cultural difference.
After the first few years, it didn't bother me to a great degree that I was going bald, my father and his many brothers were all bald at a young age.
Now that my hair is growing back, I will have my revenge on these bullies, it is the only sensible satisfaction possible. I will share my news with anyone who is interested.

I've already used a Jack Nickolson qoute a couple of times from the movie 'As good as it gets' because it seems to be a mature responce but tastefully baffles the moron. I also say it with a confident smile and a bit of a laugh. "Where did you learn to talk like that? In some sailor wanna hump hump bar down in panama? Go sell crazy somewhere else were all stocked up here." Its def not the responce expected and thats what makes it feel good to say even if its not accute to the topic at hand it turns thier smile into a smirk quickly and leaves you walking away the better man.
