Topical Cetrizine for Hair Loss instead of Finasteride (Propecia)

Casperz what kind of camera are you using? That's a really magnified shot! I've tried taking some of my own but can't get nearly that quality. In fact all my pics suck -can't see anything on there! I just have one of those Nikon Cool pix 550 cameras.

When you noticed the vellus hairs starting to show up, was it all at once? Like one day you looked in the mirror there was nothing and then the next day, bam! they show up? Or was it more gradual?

I use a 10x digital inspection microscope at work to get the pictures, fortunately I have an office door. The vellus hairs probably were gradual but my
noticing them was BAM! I caught a glimpse in my rear view mirror with the sun just right one day. When I got home I took a better look and it was
amazing and as the days went by they seemed to be sprout up more and more.

do you guys think it's better for cet topic to still be wet before applying minoxidil? or do you wait for it to dry up, then apply minoxidil?

i just want to follow your methods, seems like you guys are having the most success

That's nice you have access to that microscope!

Not sure, but, my left side hairline had a couple of vellus hairs that were about a 1-2cm and they seem a lot longer than normal...like 2x as long as before. There may even be more of them; but, i don't know if that's just my head playing games with me. The right side still has nothing with the exception of one hair at the edge of the hairline that's not quite vellus but pretty weak, it seems to be growing and is sticking out an odd angle. Pretty sure i wouldve noticed that before. I'm about 2.5 weeks in.

well if you mean that cetirizine doesnt inhibit pgd2 levels.. then too bad me and casperz is regrowing a lot of hair. You cant allways rely on studies, some say it inhibits some say it doesnt. I decided to try this and im very happy with the results so far. After my expirience i have to say it must inhibit pgd2 levels fore sure...

huh? i was asking how long you wait after cet topical before applying minoxidil. no doubt it's working that's why i want to follow your technique.

that wasnt ment for you orez.. that was for the booby guy or whatever his profile name is. Im taking minoxidil 1 ml in the morning and the pgd2 blocker in the evening... try using nizoral once a week too... it took some weeks for me before i saw any noticiable results... but try it atleast for 2 months... thats what most of the users say.

Just checked and nothing new. People are asking why it's so quite the guy that started the Cetrizine treatments responded
that everyone is talked out on the subject. I think they are in a wait and see mode like the rest of us.

I wait for a couple of minutes after the Cet just to let things dry a little.

Wait till you hit 45 days or so, you won't be worried if it's you head playing tricks.

Been using AHK for about a month...no real improvements. Mainly using on the hairline trying to get those little black hair to grow. Will try Cet for a few months daily and then possibly divine herbal oil.

I'm growing a lot of "little" hairs. Hopefully I'll have them grow up to be big hairs someday soon. Too bad Cet was not around 20 years ago
as I think the longer you've been bald the longer it will take to restart things.

i'm actually 3 days in & i just wanted to follow anyone who's seeing results. what i've noticed with this is my scalp seem to be itchy at times. i hope that's already it starting to work he he

The area below the vertex at the back of my head seems to be much thicker, I think the run off from the vertex might be the reason, no changes
elsewhere that I can tell.

I hate to keep spamming this thread with questions about vehicles but I have another. I dont really like ordering stuff online and I cant seem to find ethanol or propylene glycol anywhere.. Could i substitute the ethanol with rubbing alcohol (something around 140 proof??) and then just not add propylene glycol?? Thanks guys.
