Hi guys

Looking to come off oral finasteride . Now down to 0.2mg daily and have been on fina since 2000 and also monixidil, oral finasteride seems to be causing increased gyno and to be honest I now want off all oral meds, since there appears to be no current definitive opinion about topical dutasteride and it's true efficacy I was leaning more to a finasteride/minoxidil combo. My hair is still a norwood 2 diffused. So anything to maintain is the goal as now aged 44, for UK users where is best to get th combo of finasteride/minoxidil in Europe , I have some morr f at the moment, is minoxidil max decent, given Brexit I want to try and avoid customs duties too , many thanks

Although topical dutasteride may seem a bit controversial for the moment, I still consider it preferable to topical finasteride. Countless anecdotes suggest finasteride to go just as systemic when applied topically, so it just creates an unnecessary inconvenience in your daily life.

Topical dutasteride however, is looking more and more effective, as months go by and more and more people start using it. Though since you're worried about shipping and customs, you might in fact be better off on another treatment, at least until topical dutasteride is better understood and some proper guidance is established by its users.

With that in mind, you should be able to visually offset the process of balding via minoxidil. Perhaps some local pharmacy in the UK could compound some topical finasteride/minoxidil solution for you - worth asking around. As a side note, shipping is far less troublesome as you'd imagine. I've come to learn that on this site. Certain counties' customs just flat out don't care so don't cross out international sources either.

I am in the same boat as you. I have been taking finasteride since around 2005 and want to ween off the oral too. Of course topical dutasteride is going to be alot more expensive than generic oral finasteride but I will to give it a try. Do you know of any cases of people like us who made the switch and did just as good on it or even better?

I've been on both for 12 years, and my hair is great. I was starting to lose hair around age 28-29, and I started the regimen at 32. I regrew hair especially when I went with minoxidil 5% 3 times/day vs 2 times /day. Huge difference and I'm 44 now.

I'm going to start reducing my Fina intake from 1mg orally to 0.5mg and see how that goes given I now just want to maintain. Of course I'd love to go with no oral fina at all, but I want to maintain

Hey I am from london and have been buying mine from America compound pharmacy, see below they give discount to forum members when you buy 3 compound mixtures. You can choose what ingredients you want added into your mixture and they do both Topical Finasteride an Dutasteride.

Hi Jazz , ended up going with minoxidil max, in the future might try the Andorra pharmacy in terms of price and quality thanks.

Hi Doctor House sadly I don't know of anyone, I've been off 3 or so weeks , had been using some Indian morr f which was a bit perfumery! Before I got minoxidil max topical finasteride and also topical duta , will use the latter X2 per week and the former 5 per week along with minoxidil.

Great head of hair for your age. Just shows how staying on your treatments helps you maintain. People tend to give up way too soon. Keep us updated if you switch to topical from oral.

Been on topicals about 3 weeks now, to be fair feel less grumpy now , sperm appears also improved, maybe slight more shed but nothing significant, if I could get some liquid spironolactone from a cheap UK or E.U source I would add that too.

If you want to get a topical with spironolactone order Proxiphen from Dr Proctor. Get the liquid form made. Dr Proctor claims his topical is more effective than finasteride. I have been hammering hard with the Proxiphen every day and my hair is improving.

Stay away from Minoxidil Max. Do not put that Chinese crap on your head.

Use Parati in Italy or FUECLINIC in Belgium

Maybe the Andorra pharmacy next time mate , seems to get a reasonable write up, at the moment feeling better off the internal finasteride.

Yeah them too

Don't use that man. Seriously. I have heard already for 3 different guys totally fucked with their Dutas and countless on their finasteride

It's not regulated and imported from China. Look after your health.
