Polichem is testing out different doses and delivery vehicles to see if they matter. I think that results should be out soon.
Do you have any idea when ? I bought 0.25% liposomal topical finasteride, but i'm unsure about what concentration should i use. I went with 0.25% because of the studies, their 2,5% seemed like a very high concentration, but i'm worried that maybe because of the liposomal delivery you need higher concentrations to get results...

Based on my experience with topical finasteride (compounded by a pharmacy near my home) it had 0 effectiveness in the time I used It. I was using it 4x a week and taking small dose oral propecia other days. My results were: increased shedding, intense scalp itch and the alcohol from the mixture destroying everything it touches. That sh*t was just a mess. The liposomal finasteride does look interesting though and may be exactly what was missing from my low budget pharmacy compounded topical. Yet we don't have many people reporting updates with it.

It seems to have helped with my scalp inflammation (i'm a diffuse thinner and i always felt my scalp inflamed in the area where i am balding), it also seems that my shedding has been reduced, but it's really hard to tell, it might just be my impression.. but I really feel that my scalp is healthier.

amazing man, im guessing they dont use alcohol in this formulation. Are you taking it only topically, no oral finasteride treatment? You should def keep us posted as id be interested in using both to effectively stop my hairloss. I wonder how derma rolling would impact effect of the finasteride topical.

Yes, no oral treatment. I am also using a 1.5 mm dermaroller once a week. I will keep you guys updated, but i still don't know what concentration to use, I will try to get some more info from Parati pharmacy.

I've been using essengen 6 from minoxidilmax which has 0.05% finasteride and 6% minoxidil. I'm at the 4 month mark and my hairloss has halted as far as I can tell. Not taking any oral finasteride either. Been writing a bit about it in another thread and will probably update some final thoughts when i hit the 6 month mark end of March.

Waste of time based on peoples past experiences and compared to oral Finasteride. Even the topical goes systemic to a certain degree. Better options exist for topical use.
I know it goes systemic to a certain point and that it can ahve the same side effects as oral, thats not the point, i don't really care about sides. It's the efficiency that interests me, from those studies you can see that the topical has a higher scalp DHT inhibition, which it may make it more effcient in terms of regrowth.

how are you doing wth the topical?

I just purchased some..mine has a spray bottle top which I found odd and wasteful.

I did purchase it from a reputable hair transplant surgeon though so I know its legitimate stuff.

its .5% have not started yet.

your progress?

Just so you guys know 2.5% would be 25mg per mL... way too much and I can't fathom how they thought it would be a good idea. To put that into perspective, 0.1% would be 1mg per mL.
