Has anyone explored or performed any studies on Topical Retinoids for re-growing hair?
Reason I ask is I was using Retinoids for acne & I had to stop because I was getting little visible red veins. I asked my Derm why this happened he said, "Retinoids increase cell proliferation & cell turnover by generating new blood vessels. Pushing the skin cells into growth stage."
I mean wouldn't increased blood flood & manipulation of cells for growth help hair loss. My Derm said, "It does it is just not cost efficient & that is why when we prescribe Retinoids to women we warn that they can grow facial hair."
Just curious if anyone has insight on this or experimented with this.
