I use spironolactone for everything... the stuff is great on..... Pancakes.... chocolate muffins.... banabread.... blueberryapple pie..... sorbet. I've also heard that if you dig up a skeleton and put some spironolactone on it you can regrow a whole new human who will be indebted to you and will probally do your grocery shopping for free.

I have not read any studies on topical spironolactone. How well is the study done? There are lots of small junk studies that mean little.

Hey guys i have a question, ive previously used topical spironolactone (Dr lee version) but what im wondering is if i could replace it with Dr Proctor's Advanced Thinning Hair Treatment because it contains spironolactone and use it once a day?

thanks

Well, it's not exactly the best study ever done, but they seem to think they got significant results. Here, read the study yourself:

Does the Dr. Lee's spironolactone seem to be working for you?

Hi CCS,
I just ran across your thread here, and I want to give my 2 cents.

I've used spironolactone in the past, rather successfully-- I applied spironolactone lotion (from Dr. Lee) to the hairline, temples, the areas above the side burns, and a just a smidge on the crown. I regrew a very decent amount of hair, and it's an excellent tool for regrowth or maintenance (depending how much you've lose). For the last 2 months, I've been back on dutasteride (my insurance covers the cost now :D ), added topical spironolactone, added prescription-strength ketoconazole shampoo, and I'm still using Rogaine Foam (going on a year).

Just in the last 2 months, the results of the hairline and crown have been substantial. I'm very pleased. :) (And that's hard to do, haha)

Does the Dr. Lee's spironolactone seem to be working for you?

See i used it for almost 6 months and it was not yielding any results, in fact nothings yielding results.

Currently on

Shampoo
NANO
Revita

Topical
Folligen
spectal Dnc

Propecia
Multi

Should i add spironolactone again or should i add another growth stimulant like dr proctors topical?

By not yielding any results did you mean no regrowth or it didn't help keeping the hair from falling out?

How can you be sure your results are from spironolactone and not dutasteride?

One can suspect that the effects of Dutasteride would take longer than 2 months to start working. Dutasteride will likely take me another 4 to 10+ months until I see some action from it.

I saw no regrowth with spironolactone, i think it stopped further hairloss.

Im going to re add it to my regimen.

When i finish folligen i want to replace it with somthing else, any suggestions?

Cheers
