I was at one of their German locations today, and unfortunately I won't be able to keep the piece they installed. I thought that working with a salon would be a great way to get started, but this was not the case. They had a process to go through, and did not ask me very many questions, or make much effort to work with me to find a solution that would look right. Even the color does not match, although the stylist kept telling me that it did.
To be fair, I am a hard case, ever since my hair thinned out, I cannot for the life of me find a stylist who knows what to do with my head. When I was younger it just "worked", with no effort. The point I am trying to make is - maybe the Total Cover method would work for someone who is more conventionally attractive. But if I'm going to wear a hairpiece, I will need to recreate whatever it was that worked for me in the past, instead of gluing a "one size fits all" system to my head.
Some side notes:
- I got 80% density, and it's far too much for me. I asked about getting even lower density, but the stylist didn't seem to know much about it. Maybe clients do not ask for this?
-Wall Of Hair. The dreaded problem. Again, I asked about more natural hairlines, but the stylist didn't seem to know much about that.
-They were nice, friendly people, but the product they're selling is not what I need. I need to consult with someone who has the time and patience to actually look at my facial structure, and figure out how I could look good. For the price I was charged, I could expect this type of service.
-Two of the employees were wearing, and I didn't like theirs so much. So, in the end, it is my fault for going ahead with it, expecting mine to turn out better
