forgive me if this is a dumb question, but i am new to this.

does anyone have a toupee just on the crown area? i understand the biggest problem with peices is getting the hairline to look right, but i honestly don't mind that much about my thinning/ receeding hairline, its the crown balding that bothers me. and i can't picture a little "patch" on the back would be that noticible or obvious...or that expensive.

I don't know much about hair pieces, but you can get all types, but whatever you do, do plenty of research cos there are plenty of robbing bastards out there. Information is your friend, and the robbing bastards nemesis.

Small balding areas are much easier to pull off with toppers. The best I have seen have been situations such as yours, or even small pieces at the hairline.

The only problem would be getting the density right. If the rest of your top is thinning it could be tricky to nail it the first time around. If everything around that area is a similar density I don't see a problem.
