Transplant into scar

I've got a 3 inch scar from a previous hair transplant. Is it ok to have an FUE transplant into it or doesn't that work properly?

I've heard from my doctor that this can be done. Follicular units can be placed back into the scar.
Alternatively, you may wish to consider SMP (scalp micropigmentation) into the scar.

Yes it can be done, but it is harder for the grafts to take in scar tissue.
