I have read that jet lag can cause Telogen Effluvium in susceptible people and I was just wondering if the same is true of flying and travelling in general - even if there is not a huge time difference between the places.

I.e. will taking lots of flights within a short period trigger a Telogen Effluvium?

I highly doubt it, unless you are extremely stressed for a very long period of time, it won't have any effect on you.

yeah Telogen Effluvium is usually caused by severe stress and usually it happens 3 months after the stress incurred

because you body tells itself to stop the growing phase and go into a 3 month dormancy ... then it falls out

Telogen Effluvium can be very shocking!

foo shooooow

cheers
