Has anyone here used anything that has got rid of puffy nipples caused by finasteride?

After using finasteride for a year i have developed puffy nipples. I quit finasteride last month but the puffy nipples remain.

Thanks

you can blast them with tamoxifen.

that will hault all gyno and probabaly help reduce it.

I think unfourtunatly once you get it, it's there for good. you can consult a plastic surgon for surgery though.

did no medication help your male pattern baldness? did you just buzz your hair off?

i'm starting to think the same way.

hey guys, ive been on dutasteride (1mg per day (yes, thats two capsules) for nearly a yr

anyway, i noticed puffy nipples and some mild tingling AROUND the nipple area (not on the nipple) about 9 months into the course.

anyway, now, the tingling has dissappeared (actually sometimes i think i made it up) and my nipples are back to where they started.

With regards to hair, i have achieved subtle improvements.

draw your own conclusions.

I would possibly consider Raloxifene. I've started to notice a tingling sensation along with increased sensitivity around the nipple area and it's freaking me out. I don't want to end up with bigass man titties :x

Here's some info I dug up of potential gyno therapy
Experience with the use of either raloxifene or tamoxifen, both antiestrogenic agents, in reducing breast size in adolescent boys with benign gynecomastia. The data presented are from a retrospective review of 37 patients: 12 received reassurance alone, 10 received raloxifene (60 mg once daily for 3 to 9 months), and 15 received tamoxifen (10 to 20 mg twice dialy for 3 to 9 months). Baseline studies including LH, FSH, testosterone, and estradiol levels were normal in all subjects and there were no significant differences among the groups with regard to age at initiation of treatment, Tanner stage, BMI or baseline hormone levels. Significant reductions in breast diameter were measured with both raloxifene (2.5cm, 66% reduction) and tamoxifen (2.1cm, 46% reduction). However, a 50% or greater reduction was seen more often in the raloxifene treated group (86% vs 41%). No side effects of the medications were reported.

Taking DIM, which is an estrogen modulator, should help with your gyno problems.

Hmm where you can get this stuff?
I might get some for backup... I've been getting strange pains around my chest area lately and might try taking some.

Self medication - fun fun fun!!

Awesome thanks!

I'm a broccoli fan, so maybe I might just start to eat more of it daily!

Cheers.

You do not want gyno or symtoms hanging around long. My advice is to stamp it out as quick as possible. The longer you have it, the harder it is to get rid of.

Tamoxifen may help stop it, but it is difficult to get rid of with just that. I would get on letrozole 1.25mg ED should knock it out in a week or so.
