Trouble with rogaine foam cans

Recently opened another new bottle of rogaine foam and have discovered that after a certain amount of time open, it releases the foam in a liquid form that just melts almost instantly. Now i can hear that there is still product left inside, almost a quater can.

Does anyone else have this issue? Or is it something that just occur towards the bottles end.

It's probably too late for your recent can, but try shaking it prior to each use. I do this and have never had a problem.

I had the same problem when I first started using it. It's probably one of two things. Either you're keeping it somewhere too warm and it's melting. Or you're leaving the lid off for too long and the gas is escaping. I suspect it's the latter. Best thing to do is put your thumb over the top of the container when the lid is off. That's what I did and it's stopped my foam turning into liquid. If it's the former then you could try keeping it somewhere cooler. Perhaps put it in the fridge? Hope this helps.

Hmmm, i thought as its a pressurised can the plastic lid been on or off wouldn't make a difference? But im still gona try the thumb on top as it couldn't hurt. Theres a good chance the storing area is too humid so i will try moving it aswell and see how that goes.

And I always do shake the can before i use it, cheers for the tip though. If others have any issue's or tips it would be great to hear.

yes shaking the can helps

and keeping it in an cooler area will definitely help

also cooling your hands before you put the minoxidil in them will as help

i myself use an ice pack that i keep in the fridge
i hold the ice pack with both my hands for approx 2-3 min

i find it helps alot from having the minoxidil melt in your hands

its never happened to me altho my cans get watery when its hot & humid out
