Also the Drug is a monopoly for this specific illness...he raised the ONE drug 5000% and you think that is okay in the name of innovation and greed? okay

But now lets destillate the things you said to your main arguments.

You claim the price raise triggered a hike in the insurance rates. This is a sound argument and logical way of thinking IF we would be talking about a drug that's widely prescribed, but it is not in this case.

Daraprim, the drug we're talking about is only used by around 2000 people in the USA.

The second argument you made is the fact that Shkreli claimed to use the extra revenue for R&D. Yes we don't know if he will do what he claims, hence I did not put it is a fact.

About the rest yes I agree up to a point, regulations are needed no doubt about that yet we can't let it go too far, you talk about high drug prices, and yes it's true a lot of them are high, but one of the main reasons is because of the long mandatory testing periods.
Actually regulations are a double-edged sword in the pharma industry, do we care more about prices or safety?

If you want regulations and one of them would be a price limit, you will also stop smaller pharma companies from developing new drugs.

It's not so simple.
