I'd be curious to hear what Tsuji thinks of Replicel/Shiseido's method seeing as both are working on cell therapies for hair loss.

Same question again:

-This treatment will be effective for egghead guys (total diffuse + extremely miniaturization because Androgenetic Alopecia or Medicinal Alopecia (Bad drugs: Prozac, Risperdal, etc.)?

Thank you!

Wow. I'm so pumped you guys are doing this interview, it means a lot, and I think I speak for most of us when I say that.

I think there are four main questions that need to be answered to clear out the skepticism that's been going on.

1. Are they actually realistically looking and on track to release this to the average Joe sometime in 2020? Also when will the first human be tested with this in trials?
2. Are there any further obsticles in their way, which could potentially push this treatment away from coming to market for many many years? In other words how confident are they in their method?
3. How do they plan to make this available to a large number of people? How will they meet the demand? Will a machine be built to inject the hair follicle germs or will hair transplant doctors be trained to do this? In other words, if it is released in 2020, will I have to wait years for my turn in the treatment?
4. Cost. How much? Just an approximation will do. I'd be happy with an answer that says whether it'll be more or less than the average hair transplant. Basically, will the cost be attainable for most people?

Thanks again guys, can't wait for this interview!

I know he won't ask because it's a waste of a question, but Ishe accepting volunteers for trials? I live near Tokyo and I want in!

1. What current issues in cell culturing and expression still need to be addressed prior to the start of human trials?
2. How confident are you in the estimated timeline by Kyocera for product commercialization by 2020? Do you believe this timeline is a bit aggressive and would predict commercialization later on?
3. Do you believe that this procedure will be applicable for all patterns of hair loss (slick bald to diffuse thinning) as well people who have previously received hair transplants?
4. How long would the process take in total from time of harvest of biopsy, cell culturing, to implantation of primoridiums?

Awwwww yeah.

I guess my only questions would be:

"Can the treatment use donor cells other than the patient's, or are the risks too great?"

"Is it possible that this treatment could work in any mammal that grows hair or fur?"
I was looking at my cat and dog's fur today. So soft, so dense... They could spare a bit of fit, I think it would look good on me! You're thinking the same, right? ;)

Some of these have probably been asked already-

1) people seem to think it will be released 2020, is this realistic? If not what is the your best case scenario for release to the general public?
2) can natural density be replaced in one session or will you need more then one session if your natural density is on the high side?
3) can a natural hairline be achieved? Or will it look pinny with thick hairs used to create the hairline as per a hairtransplant?
4) with regards to the hairline can finer hairs be achieved like a natural untransplant hairline?

ps great initiative admin!

I don't know if this has been asked yet, have you injected or tested these germs on humans?

1. Is the procedure an injection of grafths or is it injections of some cultured serum that will grow hair?
2. Someone on this forum talked about 120 hair per cm square, is this true? In this case is it 120 hairs og 120 hairfollicles?

Thank you so much for beeing able to do an interview with these researchers, very much appreciated!

Once the 10 questions are selected, kindly put them up for community review before the interview, so that we have further opportunity to focus the questions if need be.

Thanks Admin!

Thanks Admin!

I think this is really important. If the admin could kindly show us the list he comes up with before the interview and give us one last collective review to make sure there's no important question missing that we feel should be in there. Not trying to be picky, and I'm grateful for the interview in general... I just think this might be a good idea.

1) I want to know if tsuji method will work on people who’ve had hair transplants. We know people who had hair transplants are not at the same density prior to losing their hair, probably at 50 hairs per cm or less, so if you injected the cells into those hair transplant areas will the hair grow to make the density back up to 100 or more hairs per sq cm? im assuming it will work by hair transplant hairs if it works on people who have diffused hairs, unless it doesn’t work in areas with scar tissue.
2) which brings me to my next question. Will his method be able to grow hair through scars.
3) lastly what happens if you do inject these cells into areas with hair? Could it cause shock loss like hair transplant can.

Can a person who has had a hair transplant in the past still be able to have this procedure done?

Great work Admin, thanks.
The most interesting questions are already written by others.

These are the questions I'd like to have answers for:
1) 2020 timeline possibility
2) If new hairs will be baby hair or already mature?
3) What is the maximum density that can be achieved
4) How long does it take hair to grow after injection
5) If they are planning to inject cells on the thinning scalp (including back and sides)
7) Are they able to get unlimited cells from single biopsy?
6) Can this treatment eliminate male pattern baldness inflamation/itch?
