I'm not necessarily talking about myself. I'm saying that I hope we can agree that the vast majority of the cost would be the treatment, which would have to be paid for whether you live in Japan or not. Other expenses are trivial in comparison. Therefore, being from out of the country probably isn't a deal breaker for people who are willing to fork that much dough over in the first place.

Awesome man and I'm not the guy that just likes to argue on public forums so I don't mean to come off that way. Just like to clarify things, which it sounds like we are both on the same page. I think the main theme of this thread is to celebrate another very solid step in the direction of a cure. So I definitely don't mean to take away from that theme. Today's news is a win for all of us and it is a reason to celebrate and be excited.

Completely agree man, and I'm in the same boat because I don't know if I will fork over all that money. But hey.. maybe we won't be the first, but I will say that there are some pros with waiting: 1. The cost will come down and 2. The treatment will only improve with time, so maybe us waiting will be even better in the long run. Until then, it feels very good to know that the future is looking brighter and brighter

Look @hellouser can figure this all out for us once we get him to Japan! Or the next time we get to ask Tsuji questions in a professional set up through Admin. Id rather Noisette not be overly inquisitive with Tsuji for the obvious reason and feel as if though Noisette has good control over not pushing it.

We will all know soon enough but I am willing to pay for everything and even live in Japan for a year if they want me too, to track progress. I am of North Indian decent so I would be a good candidate to mix up the mold.

You shouldn't concern yourself with what others say about accessibility then as it doesn't apply to you. You probably shouldn't reply to me saying that my point was trivial with a response that essentially says very wealthy people enjoy exclusive access to things that the ordinary public does not have.

I used to think this was going to be 6 figure procedure but looking at how much that limits the market especially for a cosmetic procedure I don't think it'll be over that 100k. Medical procedures really don't come down in price because well the way I see it doctors still want money and need supplies that don't come cheap like EVER. I can't be sure and could be wrong but I honestly think 30-40k will be starting price.

You've answered the question: Japanese people tend to live in Japan, which has 127 million people. That's a lot more than 10,000 and just like everywhere else, millions will want to be treated.

You have my guarantee that the majority of customers initially treated will be Japanese and if you're not Japanese, it is simple statistics that you aren't in favorable standing to receive the treatment as it will inevitably be first come, first serve and the Japanese have you beat.

Exactly. They DIDN'T state they will only take Japanese customers; it's that if you have limited allocation for a high demand medical procedure, the majority of those customers will be from your location.

Again, it will be first come first serve and anyone who thinks that it's not possible for 10,000 Japanese out of 127 million to get there before foreigners has lost touch with reality.

If this releases by 2020, I'll be 25, there's some real HOPE that I can end this nightmare until I turn 30.

If this costs 30k $, I'll be able to afford it even now If I'll sell some property which I have inherited. I'll piss off my entire family tree, but it will be worth it.
