As i know for my own experience
For the past 10 years of hair loss
i had thick full had of hair than after severe stress mentally and phyiscally in my life cause of trauma i lack of sleep and made my body awake for more than 27-30 hours dfor 6 months
The hair start failling with no touching
I had full thick hair before
Eat healthy organic,exercise,no medication,
so after 3 month of this severe situation the hairs in one of my head side faill off.and i had a finger long(strap) that had no hair on it..
the other side was perfect.. also all the hair on my head seems almost thr same
Alltought the shedding just hepend alone. I really torture myself ans my body (regret of it more than anything for the past 10 years) ,
On the ongoing of my.life every time i had severe stress period i started to lose hair again ,or after 2-3 monthes from the severe stress event, times with no stress i didny had any hairloss accure.and i check my hairs all the time...
I tryed to figure what k had .when stuipd dermotolgicsts didnt know what to.say... and was full of bullshit.
I didnt find any evidence to my cause on the internet,i was alone with it.
WHy my hair not growing back...
When stress level stop
it was like a magic, everytime stress made me bald more and more
And when i eliminate stress than the hair was fine
But no hair growback
The problem is i had a lot of.outgoing with my life and traumatics event with people and myself ,i didnt find a place to rest from the stress.
It keep.follow.
But the period time when i had no stress or very low for 6.month ,9 month ,4 month ,1 year etc... the hair stay as it is..
So i figured if i have male patterm baldness it would not triggerd for decades or at all till im much more older...
And today i found that a clinic wrote the same as my experience on that matter...
I willl put some photos .
But overall it says that
Telogen Effluvium accur can be delayed several monthes. That mean it can hepend right after the severe stress event or few month after usually 2-3 month
(i had both experience with it)
So Telogen Effluvium shedding does not cause permanent hairloss however
Reapted cycles of shedding speed up oneset of androgenic alopcia(male pattern baldness)
it speed up the process of miniaturization and accelrate the age when the beginning of genetic hair loss is recognized even a decade eariler! Thats right a decade! Or even more
Thats what they described .
The same conclusion that i got to with my experience with my hair loss journey and torture ive gone throw. For the past 10 years.
thats mean that

Telogen Effluvium
does trigger androgenic alopcia even decades earlier.

im 37 years old
My hair loss start at age 27
before not ,i had full thick hair. With no hair loss or receding whats so ever..
Ive lived healthy as i can in this society,
The loss of hair start only on one side after severe stress to the body that i put myself throw. And never grow back....
but it stoped there
After stoping the severe stress ,i didnt had any hair loss for years..
So the only bald spot was a finger lenght place in my right side above my hairline
I remember how shock i was seeing my hair failling suddently without no movement of my body or any touch..
But all my body was sick from lack of sleep and putting myself awake for more than 27-30 hours for months..
i had heart pain and bone pain and eyes.pain
All my body sufferd.so ofcourse it got into survival mode taking all blood and nutrition to the organs that important for survival.
Hair is not important for survival.
I was in a very self-harm .

I couldnt comperhand for years how ive done that to myself

over the years i endure severe pain from this outcome and by life ive gone through

And to save my hair and myself lived in nature
so this is my conclusion ,and my journey
You cannot sat diffrently cause everything ive read for years.didnt describe or explain my situation correctly it said that hair sould grow back
Than i couldnt agree ,cause that not what ive experienced so i figure to mysels
that this severe stress triggerd something that was dormant in my body
or hurt my hair follicles and each time stress accured it.hurt them.again
The cure was to..live.without stress.
and that was and is a crazy journey
society are so complexed with toxic .

And for ptsd human with deep scars to live among society is indeed toxic for me,if i dont find a way to live peacefully.
Non stressful as possible

Now i conclude there are things to do to try regrow hair, but its all about effiecenty vs other damage to the body .
I kept focusing on management my stress levels ..
And i should have try method to restore my hair except prevention

to all of you,
Yes stress/severe stress is causing androgenic alopcia(male pattern baldness)
By accelrate it by even as decades
Or does indeed cause to loss hair permanently as it is.

On a side note, each individual is different .
So its all in comparison to yourself.

Thanks for sharing your story—your experience with stress-induced hair loss and its impact over the years is really insightful. It definitely aligns with what many researchers and hair loss sufferers have speculated about Telogen Effluvium (Telogen Effluvium) accelerating the onset of Androgenetic Alopecia (Androgenetic Alopecia). While Telogen Effluvium itself is often described as temporary, repeated severe stress episodes seem to push susceptible individuals toward permanent miniaturization much earlier than expected.

Your case makes a strong argument for how chronic stress affects the body's overall health and its ability to sustain non-essential functions like hair growth. The fact that your shedding coincided directly with high-stress periods—and that stopping stress stopped the loss—suggests a strong link in your case.

What you said about focusing on stress management is key. Many people jump to medications and transplants without addressing the underlying triggers. Living in nature and focusing on a low-stress lifestyle makes sense for long-term health, but like you said, society doesn’t always make that easy.

Since you’re now considering restoration rather than just prevention, have you looked into scalp microneedling, PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) therapy, or low-level laser therapy (LLLT)? Some of these might help stimulate regrowth alongside stress management. Also, have you had a dermatoscope check to see if the follicles in your affected areas are still active? That could help guide your next steps.

Would love to hear more about what you've tried or what you're considering next!

Best,
Nathan
