Things have gotten so much worse. I’m 99.9% sure I have dupa. I got my blood tested to see if there were any underlying causes of my loss but everything came back normal. My doctor prescribed me finasteride and told me to use minoxidil as well but with hair loss this aggressive at such a young age is there any point in fighting it? I can’t believe how fast it has progressed. Pics are with damp hair

Most of the time hair loss is caused by either inflammation (DHT is a form of this as well) or something causing your hair cycle to be screwed up (certain drugs, thyroid, etc.). If your hair loss is accompanied by itching and burning you know it is most likely the former. The reason why DHT blockers work is because it helps mediate inflammation. Unfortunately it is a guess if finasteride will work for you, but taking .25mg-.5mg of that per day with a good turmeric supplement will help decrease scalp inflammation and further hair loss while minoxidil will help grow it back. Wet hair always looks worse and your hair line looks fine.

Also your username is 'tweakin'...if you use meth or amphetamine this could cause diffuse hair loss.
